NERV Sleep Mask FAQs
What is a 3D contoured sleep mask?
A 3D contoured sleep mask has shaped space around the eyes instead of a flat front. The NERV Sleep Mask uses hollowed eye contours and a broad light-shading front. How much clearance you feel depends on your face shape and the way you adjust the mask.
Is the NERV Sleep Mask made from silk?
No. Its listed materials are polyester, polyurethane and spandex. The 3D description refers to the mask’s shape, not its fabric. If silk is a requirement for you, compare the material composition as well as the design before choosing a mask.
Does the mask block out all light?
It is designed to shade light, but we do not promise complete blackout. Light can enter where a mask meets your nose or cheeks, and fit varies from person to person. The hollowed shape alone does not establish a 100% blackout seal.
How do I adjust the sleep mask?
Use the wraparound fastening at the back to adjust the fit. Position the eye contours over your eyes and check that the edges sit comfortably. Keep the fit comfortable rather than pulling the fastening tight to try to eliminate every gap.
Will the contours leave room for my eyelashes?
The hollowed eye area creates space, but the clearance depends on your lashes and face shape. We have not verified compatibility with eyelash extensions or every lash length, so we do not promise lash protection or zero contact.
Is this a sleep mask for side sleepers?
The NERV Sleep Mask has not been validated for side-sleeping comfort. A pillow can press against a mask’s edge and change its fit. If side sleeping is your main requirement, consider the thickness at the temples and how the fastening feels in your usual position.
How is a contoured mask different from a flat sleep mask?
A contoured mask creates space around the eyes, while a flat mask has a simpler front profile. Shape, material and fit are separate choices: a contoured mask can use synthetic materials or silk. Neither shape guarantees better light shading or comfort for everyone.
Is the NERV Sleep Mask weighted or heated?
No weighted filling, heating function or electronics are listed for the NERV Sleep Mask. It is a light-shading fabric mask with a shaped eye area and adjustable fastening. It does not need to be charged.
What is included with the sleep mask?
The individual product includes one black NERV Sleep Mask. Earbuds are not included with the individual mask; the Dreamstate Sleep Bundle pairs the mask with one pair of NERV Sleep Buds and their charging case.
Can I buy or pre-order the NERV Sleep Mask?
